Taxation:
Successful representation of clients under criminal investigation by Internal
Revenue Service for Money Laundering and Unreported Income. Successfully negotiated with local tax authorities a planned sale of real property for nonpayment of taxes into a five-year installment program. Halted a seizure of an existing business with over 15 employees for nonpayment of trust fund taxes; negotiated with IRS Collection Division into accepting an installment payments for back taxes. Initiated and filed Petitions for Relief before US Tax Court for several taxpayers involving unreported income and unsubstantiated expenditures issues.

Estate Planning:
Prepared numerous estate plans for individuals, including revocable
trusts, wills, insurance trusts and durable powers of attorney. Analyzed and prepared gifting programs for clients. Authored and developed “Motivational” Trusts for children. Counseled clients on asset protection trusts -- foreign and domestic.

Corporate:
Counsel to non-profit, tax-exempt organizations. Advised corporations on
management controls, fiscal and accounting controls and cost containment.
